Administrative Assistant
Coach Watkins is a native of Washington, DC and attended Eastern Senior High School, and played in the DC All Stars AAU program. After her playing career at Eastern SR HS Coach Watkins moved on and played basketball at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD. After college, she moved to Virginia and became a part of the coaching staff of the Mt Zion Lady Cavaliers, which was run by long time and well beloved coach Edward Brooks. She has also had the fortune to coach along side Harry Terrell at Charlottesville High School from 1994-1996, where the girls basketball program has been a dominate force in the central Virginia region for several years. Coach Watkins has been with Strong Quality Basketball since 2006 and was an assistant coach for the Lady Future Stars. She is pleased to say that she has been a part of organizations that have lead their teams and given their players a chance to experience regional championships, state championships and national tournaments. Coach Watkins resides in Charlottesville, VA.
