Shawnette Gray
Lady Select Assistant Coach


Shawnette Gray is entering her first season as a coach with SQBA, although she is a new coach Mrs. Gray is no stranger to SQBA as her son Desmon who currently plays for Fishburne Military Academy Post-Grad team played in the program for 3 years. Coach Gray brings a wealth of basketball experience to the Lady Select coaching staff and will work primarily with the post players. As a player, Coach Gray was a star athlete for William Monroe High School from 1986-1989 earning All-District, All-Region, All-State and All-American Honors. She completed her high school career averaging 25 points and 20 rebounds per game. Following high school, Coach Gray was an All-American for Hiwassee Junior College in Tennessee from 1989-1991 averaging 20 points and 15 rebounds per game. Coach Gray completed her collegiate career at Oklahoma State University from 1991-1992 averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds per game. After completing her college eligibility Coach Gray was an Assistant Coach for the Greene County Recreation League and William Monroe High School. Coach Gray resides in Greene County.
