Adam Pickett
#1 Adam Pickett

6'1 - Guard
c/o 2014
Nelson County High School - Shipman, Virginia

Adam is in his third year with SQBA and is one of the top class of 2014 prospects in the state of Virginia. Adam was a starter and key contributor as a freshman on his High School team and was the teams most valuable player as a sophomore garnering Dogwood 1st Team All-District, averaging 20+ points per game. Adam handles the ball very well and is unguardable going to the rim as a lefty with the ability to hurt you with both hands. His jump shot is decent but not consistant; however, he has improved his shot tremendosely and continues to become a more consistant shooter. Adam passes the ball well and is also a VERY strong defender; however, Adam's biggest strength without the ball is his ability to rebound from the guard position. Adam is a double double waiting to happen. Adam averaged 15+ points a game in spring 2011, and in the Get Strong Showcase at Bridgewater College in Virginia, Adam averaged 30+ points in 4 Games while leading SQBA to the Championship Game. In the Hall of Fame Summer Open in Springfield, Massachusetts, Adam averaged 25+ points in 4 Games while also leading SQBA to the Championship Game. Adam is being recruited heavily by several Division I schools
